Lower Face & Neck Liposuction
Cosmetic Concern: 43-year old woman concerned about facial sagging along the jaw line and a neck cord.
Diagnosis: Her jowling makes her look older. The laxity in the neck created a small cord under the chin. The eyes look tired because of descent of the eyebrow soft tissue.
Treatment: The best option for her is a lower facelift. However, down time was her primary consideration. Therefore, a lower face and neck liposuction through tiny incisions was chosen as the best compromise. To further refine the result, the midline neck muscles were trimmed through a small incision just under the chin and sewn together to prevent the neck cord from reforming. The procedure was performed in the office under local anesthesia. She was back to work in just 5 days.
