The Facelift

The facelift is the most powerful cosmetic procedure we have for rejuvenating the face.  Surgery is very comfortably and safely performed under general anesthesia or deep sedation.  We recommend a night nurse for the first night after surgery.

This patient is 46 and she had a lower eyelid surgery, endoscopic forehead lift, lower eyelid chemical peel, and a lower facelift.  You can see that if she did not have a chemical peel, by day 6 she could wear sunglasses and comfortably go out.  You may return to walking the day after surgery but restrict heavy workouts for about three weeks.  Most return to work in 10-14 days.
